Update regarding Corona virus 19 pandemic.
As of this afternoon, Tuesday March 17, 2020, the Alberta Dental Association and College has mandated that all dental offices in Alberta be closed indefinitely for elective/ non-emergent dental treatment. Coronation Dental Clinic will still be available for emergency treatment that cannot wait till we reopen. This includes swellings, bleeding, extensive trauma, and dire toothaches. Any symptoms that can be relieved by pain meds or antibiotics can wait until the office is reopened. Broken/ chipped/ sensitive teeth without extensive pain is not considered emergent at this time. Although the office will be closed, an emergency contact telephone number is available on the office voicemail 780-452-2266. We are continually updated on all the events and policies recommended by The Canadian and Alberta Government Health Ministries, Alberta Health Services, and The Canadian and Alberta Dental Associations.
Regarding a recent news article: No one from this office attended the Pacific Dental Conference in Vancouver between March 6-8 and no dental representatives who did attend this conference have visited this office since those dates. All dental supply companies have recommended that all their representatives be self isolated at home for 2 weeks since this incident was discovered.
We have mandated that anyone who enters our office now for emergency treatment be free of any symptoms of Corona Virus-19. Anyone with ANY type of cough or has returned from travel outside of Canada within the past 2 weeks will not be permitted to enter our office. No staff member or patients have presented with any of these conditions since the outbreak has occurred.
We at Coronation Dental Clinic are taking the most extremes measures necessary to protect out patients and staff from further spread of this pandemic.
This is an unprecedented world crisis that has affected everyone! We will beat this and all be back to normal in time.
Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding during these difficult times!
We will keep you posted if anything changes.

We are happy to announce that on Saturday June 12, 2020 our office will once again be participating in "Dentistry For A Cause". On this day all billings collected will be donated 100% to this charitable event. All supplies will be donated by Coronation Dental Clinic and all staff work will be completely volunteer. In 2019, our office alone donated almost $5300 to the Royal Alexandra Hospital Association and a combined total for all participating dental offices was roughly $90,000. In 2018 we donated roughly $5000 to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation and a combined total of over $100,000 was raised by all participating dental offices. Please follow the website here
Thank you to all patients and who were involved with Dentistry For A Cause over the past 2 years. There is no better feeling than giving back to the community. We look forward to participating again this year.
All that is good begins with a SMILE.
We would like to thank all patients, staff, and colleagues for their continued support in 2020. Thank you to Dr Chan for continuing to work in 2020. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to working with all of you in the coming year.
The office has made many new changes including new office signage, new dental chairs, new HD cables boxes and larger HD televisions in each treatment room, new digital telephone systems, wifi, texting reminders, a retro video arcade game in our children's waiting room and much more.
We welcome new patients and value your referrals. The highest compliment our patients can give is referral of their family and friends.
Coronation Dental Clinic has complied with the recommended fee schedule amended by the Alberta Government and the Alberta Dental Association and College in 2018. We have maintained our fees consist with the Alberta Dental Association and colleges 2020 recommendations. (Please note that our office does accept insurance assignment for payment)
Coronation Dental Clinic has also been a proud supporter of the Alberta Myeloma Support Society. We have been a corporate donor for the annual "Multiple Miles for Myeloma Run" since 2013. We look forward to the run and fundraiser again on July 18, 2020. See the website for more details at https://multiplemyeloma.ca/events/multiple-miles-for-myeloma/
