April 23, 2021 Update
We are proud to say that the staff has had zero Covid 19 related absentees since returning to work May 15, 2020. We have been diligent following all regulated preventive protocols implemented by Alberta Health Services and the Alberta Dental Association and College and will continue to do so.
We do require all patients to read our Covid 19 policy and return a signed consent prior to any treatment. We e mail or text a link to this form with all appointment reminders. In this form, you will see some of the more noticeable changes that have taken place within the practice. Please reply to this message to confirm your appointment and also click on the link to fill out the Covid consent form the day of your visit.
Fortunately for Alberta dentists, staff, and patients, we have some of the strictest infection control protocols in the world already in place so any modifications to our already stringent protocols have been minimal. Safety is our highest priority and we do and will take all necessary precautions to keep everyone safe. We have taken all steps to secure the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) mandated to resume and maintain dental treatment.
Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding during these difficult times!
We would like to thank all patients, staff, and colleagues for their continued support into 2021. Thank you to Dr Chan for continuing to work in 2021. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to working with all of you throughout 2021.
The office has made many new changes including new office signage, new dental chairs, new HD cables boxes and larger HD televisions in each treatment room, new digital telephone systems, wifi, texting reminders, a retro video arcade game in our children's waiting room and much more. We are happy to say that we have completed modernizing our remaining two dental operatories. We have installed 2 new dental chairs, 2 new dental delivery units and new doctor and assistant stools.
We welcome new patients and value your referrals. The highest compliment our patients can give is referral of their family and friends.
Coronation Dental Clinic has complied with the recommended fee schedule amended by the Alberta Government and the Alberta Dental Association and College in 2018. We continue to maintain our fees consistent with the Alberta Dental Association and College's 2021 recommendations. (Please note that our office does accept insurance assignment for payment)
Coronation Dental Clinic is a proud supporter of the Alberta Myeloma Support Society. We have been a corporate donor for the annual "Multiple Miles for Myeloma Run" since 2013. Unfortunately this fundraising event has been cancelled for 2020 but we hope to be back for 2021.
Coronation Dental Clinic has been a proud supporter of "Dentistry For A Cause" for the past 3 years. Unfortunately this event has been cancelled for 2020 as well. We hope to continue our efforts again in 2021.
Coronation Dental Clinic is a proud supporter of the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club, the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federations's World Junior Hockey Championship.
